Privacy policy

This is a template. Have a lawyer in your jurisdiction review and complete it before you go live — particularly the call-recording, data-retention and international-transfer sections.

What we collect

Booking data. Names, contact details, travel documents and payment references needed to make and honour a reservation, plus the booking history attached to your account.

Call recordings and transcripts. Calls to our booking line are recorded and transcribed to complete the booking and for quality review. Callers are notified at the start of the call. Card details are captured on a separate PCI-compliant leg and are never recorded.

Usage data. Pages viewed, searches run and device information, used to operate and improve the service.

Retention. Booking records are retained for the period required by tax and consumer-protection law in the relevant jurisdiction. Call recordings default to 90 days and are configurable.

Your rights. You can request a copy of your data, ask for corrections, or ask for deletion where no legal obligation requires us to keep it. Write to hello@akshattravel.com.

Sharing. We share only what a supplier needs to deliver the booking — an airline needs the passenger name, a hotel needs the guest name and arrival time. We do not sell personal data.
